Read the back cover description of To Be Frank Diego below:
Frank Diego is caught somewhere between late coming of age and early mid-life crisis when he finds himself forced to use public transportation for the first time in order to pick up his car across town. Along the way, the Frank confronts his past, criticizes the ironic history of his self-proclaimed ‘finest city’, and meets characters who oddly challenge his state of mind– ultimately derailing his simple plan. While his bicultural identity becomes clearer as the journey progresses, his relationship with his “girlfriend” Kate grows cloudier. Straddling the tragicomic, Frank’s story is about identity and love; honesty and denial.
